Sky is blue, Tomatoes are red, Milk is white, and Hairs are black...well this was what my son knew about colors of things that he sees, in day to day life. He was taught that cabbage is light green, capsicums are dark green, cauliflower is pale white and tomatoes are big and red (or sometimes greenish red). Every 7 year old kid knows at least these basics about colours. But when he chanced up.....

And here we are again , celebrating Chetichand (The New year) today. I thought life will be bit easier as soon as summer vacation of my kid will begin, but no luck as such ! With scorching heat outside and not many amusements inside home, my kid is as bored as myself. For how much time could one remain occupied with indoor games and Idiot box ? So now though I am not worried about what to pack for his lunch and drop and pick up from his school, I am constantly .....

Dal Moong is a typical Sindhi Breakfast item, and is more famous as a Morning Street Food. Well, this means that generally Dal moong , along with Dal pakwan, Makhni Dal , sold at Thelas or as street food in morning , are preferred by Sindhis . A very simple to make, Dalmoong is a wonderful combination of Yellow split beans (Moong ki peeli dal) , and Green Grams (sabut Moong), cooked till mush.....

Human beings are really nasty...When a kid is supposed to act like a kid, he/she wants to be treated like an adult. And when finally one day, the little, cute kid had grown enough to take the worldly responsibilities, all he /she needs is to become a kid again and get pampered by the family.
